Buenos días. Vivo en un bloque que tiene dos bajos, en donde recientemente sin consultar ni avisar, han colocado un toldo y mesas, sillas, macetas…. Como si fuera de su propiedad, ¿haría falta convocar una reunión para impedir este uso por su parte?

Tal y como expone, si se trata de una zona comunitaria, quienes tendrían que haber convocado la reunión en este sentido son los propietarios de los bajos que están realizando este uso. Le aconsejo que en primer lugar intente dialogar con ellos, mediante su Presidente, y si se niegan a retirar estos elementos tendrán que acudir a la vía judicial.

Good morning. The block where I live got two gorundfloor apartments. The owners had an awning fitted and put garden furniture outside as if they owned that side. Shall I need to call to a general meeting to stop them of using that area?

If this meant that the groundfloors owners are using space that belong to the community, they cannot do it without the authorization that shall be done in a general meeting. I recommend you to speak to them first trying to sort it kindly. Otherwise, you shall take legal actions.
