En mi Comunidad se va a proceder a realizar un cambio en la instalación eléctrica de todo el edificio debido a la antigüedad del mismo y el coste que ello esta causando. Sin embargo tenemos dos vecinas que son propietarias de dos bajos del edificio en donde ejercen su actividad profesional y se niegan a contribuir a este gasto por que dicen que no están obligadas, ¿es esto cierto?

Si tal y como expone se trata de un cambio en la instalación eléctrica general del edificio para su mejora, debe saber que sus vecinas no tienen fundamento para negarse, y que sobre ellas, al igual que el resto de vecinos propietarios de las viviendas, pesa la obligación de contribuir, pues estamos ante un elemento común que con el transcurso del tiempo tiene que ser renovadas y todos los propietarios del edificio tienen que contribuir a su coste, en proporción a su porcentaje de propiedad.

If it is a change in the electrical installation of the building for improvement, you should know that those neighbors have no basis to refuse, and that they are obliged, just like the rest of inhabitants owners of dwellings, to contribute, because there is a common element which has to be renewed with the time and all the owners of the building have to contribute to that cost , in proportion to their quote.
