Si finalmente se acordara dicho cambio, ¿estoy obligado a pagar por ello?

Tal y como nos expones, el cambio de la puerta principal del edificio por otra más moderna supone una mejora que no es necesaria para la adecuación, habitabilidad y seguridad del edificio, y como tal si la cuota de instalación que supone la mejora no necesaria excede del importe de tres mensualidades ordinarias de gastos comunes no estará obligado a su abono ni se le podrá modificar su cuota, sin que en este caso al tratarse de la puerta del portal, se le pueda privar del uso de esta instalación

As you expose, the change of the main door of the building for anothe other more modern is an improvement that is not needed for the adaptation, habitability and safety of the building, In that case, if the amount per property exceeds the amount of three regular monthly payments of community fees, then, you are not obliged to pay for it and you will have right to use the gate.
